examinations
and my own vaccines, worming and giving coccidia preventative. I am by no means a
certified veterinarian but I am very knowledgeable on how
to
examine a puppy for eye / ear problems, hernias, patella problems (bad
knees), skin problems, temperament issues, and heart murmurs. I have
the new owner to take the puppy to his/her own veterinarian within 3
business days for a certified veterinarian examination.
Example of our HEALTH WARRANTY.
I the breeder of
this puppy guarantee that the puppy is healthy and free of all
communicable
diseases as best of my knowledge. Once the puppy leaves the premises of
the breeder, the breeder will
no longer be responsible for the life, health or well being of this
puppy. I
have personally checked this puppy thoroughly and find no visible faults
with the puppy;
any faults will be duly noted. I the breeder DO NOT pay any vet bills
or
give any warranty on reproductive organs, canine parvo virus or any
other puppy
diseases. This warranty covers only LIFE THREATENING GENETIC HEALTH
PROBLEM(S)
that may be found by the vet of "your choice" for the duration
listed. The puppy must be taken to the vet within 3 (three)
business days
or this warranty will be NULL and VOID. If such problem(s) are found a
vet
statement with the findings must be sent to the breeder for review,
after
reviewing I will have my vet look the statement over to determine if the
problem(s) is indeed life threatening, if findings show to be a LIFE
THREATENING GENETIC PROBLEM then a REPLACEMENT puppy will be given and
the original
puppy MUST be returned to the breeder or if the puppy dies within the
duration
of this warranty, a necropsy must be preformed and results sent to the
breeder ASAP by fax or first class mail. If the necropsy DOES NOT show
that the original puppy died from a genetic defect, NO REPLACEMENT PUPPY
WILL BE GIVEN. Necropsy’s
can be performed by your local Agriculture Department for a low cost
fee.
This puppy has had its' first /
second / third /fourth shot(s) as stated in the medical section of the
warranty
and has been wormed thoroughly. It is YOUR responsibility as "NEW
OWNER" to continue the puppy’s care. I the breeder DO NOT cover any "Low
Hypoglycemia Levels" (low blood
sugar attacks) that is from a negligent owner . It is the new owners’
responsibility
to contact a veterinarian
IMMEDIATELY if puppy isn't eating.
Exact
size and weight at adulthood
CANNOT be guaranteed! It can only be estimated based upon the puppy’s'
parents
size and weight. All puppies are sold as "PET / COMPANION QUALITY"
and ARE NOT GUARANTEED to be "SHOW / BREEDING QUALITY" unless,
otherwise specified.
Also, this guarantee shall become null and void if the puppy is given ANY vaccinations within 3 WEEKS from last date that shots were administered (this does exclude Rabies Vaccination).
*NOTE: Warranty duration may vary between 3 days, 6 months and 1 year.
